Green Thumb!

Every since we moved into this house, I've wanted to grow things. Which is pretty amazing, considering the last plant I had turned black. Seriously...completely black.

So when my back yard started growing things on its own, I thought it was perfect! A miracle! I simply started watering. It doesn't get much easier than that, right? Look what grew!

Then, with a little a lot of help from the best Grandfather a girl can have, I started my very own little garden. Complete with it's own little automatic watering system. I did mention I had help, right?

We are now officially growers of green & red bell peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes (in 2 different sizes!), and baby watermelons.

Besides the whole pulling weeds situation, I'm really loving this gardening stuff!

Sunshine & Summertime!!

Cody took Dylan to a Dodger game today...so while they were out doing boy stuff, Maddie & I decided to spend some time in the sunshine! I filled up the new little pool, and she couldn't wait to get in it. She's such a pretty little water baby!

She thinks she's a tiny daredevil. She kept climbing the little slide backward and yelling "Hold on to your seatbelts" as she slid back down on her tummy.

Love being her mom!

As everyone knows by now, I am Disney-Crazy. I just had to be at Disneyland this week for the opening of The Little Mermaid ride. I've been waiting for this. I know, crazy...
I would have thought the line would have been hours long...but we only waited about 20 minutes. SO worth it...here are the pics.
